Ju188 was a further development of the legendary Ju88 and was mainly characterized by a modified cockpit. All crew members in the front hull area could perform their respective tasks in this so-called battlehead. However, due to the low production figures, only a few of the Luftwaffe squadrons were equipped with the version.
