First, there was the humble Citadel Painter’s Grip, a simple tool that was an instant hit, as it allowed you to paint a figure while eating a ham sandwich, and without putting your fingers on the paint.

Then larger models came out, some arms were pushed out to make assembly easier, and others were decorated in red to distinguish the particular figures during the painting sessions.

This revised version of the Citadel Colour Painter’s Grip represents the most significant improvement to the principle since its release.

Our design team has retained all the great features of the original, but added the fruits of our accumulated experience.

The narrowing of the handle under the jaws makes it much easier to access the lower corners of your figures.

The handle has a more ergonomic shape that fits in the palm, minimizing fatigue during marathon sessions.

The revised base shape provides more balance and better mass distribution, allowing the handle to be raised while reducing the risk of accidental tipping.

This painter’s handle can accommodate 25mm, 28mm, 32mm and 40mm bases.
